This single, released on the 7th April 2011, from the Soul Heaven stable features the up-and-coming talents from the UK’s Beaten Soul alongside the super talented writer and vocalist Selina Campbell.

The original mix provides a raw stripped down groove led by gritty stabs and with a dark rolling bassline, with Selina’s sweet vocals bringing the all important soul.

On remix duties is another rising star out of the UK who goes by the name of Distant People. This mix takes the track down a deeper more soulful route using sweet chords, organ pads and sultry lead lines to create the vibe.

Peter Oakden, Julian Bendall & Ricky Reid are BLACK SAUCE

BAH SAMBA’s Julian Bendall, SOUL RENEGADES’s Ricky Reid & SOUL FREE’s Peter Oakden are back with their second Black Sauce recording. This time around the guys are joined by the beautiful and talented Selina Campbell, supplying a fantastically written and recorded vocal with the compliment of Nichol Thompson’s Trombone, Dominic Glover’s Trumpet and Mark Ralph’s Guitar and Bass work.

To enhance the warm vintage Black Sauce sound even further ‘The Love Of You’ was recorded and mixed at Club Ralph, London on a desk which was made and used by Conny Plank, possibly the most important German producer ever. The same desk was used to record/engineer with Kraftwerk in the 1970′s.
